pH & Alkalinity Reducer For All Water ApplicationspH is the key to proper pool water chemistry. The proper pH range is 7.2 - 7.6 and Total Alkalinity is 80 - 120 ppm. By keeping the water within this range, your sanitizer will be able to work more effectively, reduce equipment corrosion, reduce eye irritation, and reduce skin dryness. When the pH level is too high, it can lead to corrosion of metallic parts, etch and fade plastic, more rapid loss of chlorine and skin irritation. To correct high pH water conditions, simply add pH Decreaser whenever the level goes above 7.6. To correct high alkalinity, simply add whenever the total alkalinity goes above 120 ppm. Easy to apply Prevents eye and skin irritation Safer alternative to liquid muriatic acid Helps prevent cloudiness Reduce scale build up Keeps water in balance Protects metal surfaces and parts Helps protect pool & spa surface Fast dissolving Safe to swim after treatment Lowers pH and lowers alkalinity As Needed: 1. Turn ON air blower or filter system. 2. Add product. directly into pool or spa. 3. Retest water after 15 minutes. 4. Follow steps 1-3 until pH and total alkalinity are in the range of 7.2-7.6 and 80-120 ppm respectively. Tip: Add small quantities at a time allowing the water to completely mix and come into equilibrium before retesting. A large dose all at once may drive the pH too low Compatible With: Chlorine, and bromine sanitizers.
