This appears to be the key ingredient in an instant eye area tightening product that is shown everywhere almost constantly. Caveat: Please note this is a skin irritant! The other thing is that is will thicken your solution quickly and much more than you think. I have ruined a few batches of Delete Button Eye Gel trying to recreate that product! Very expensive testing for me, so I have all but given up. The natural alternative to this is probably Pephatight, which I much more recommend. The results with Pephatight are not as dramatic, but much safer all the way around. Sodium Silicate is often used for purposes like sealing leaks in basement walls. So you want it anyway....
